Presenter

Yao is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Computer Science at Stanford University. Her research focuses on capturing and understanding digital humans at scale, spanning computer vision, computer graphics, biomechanics, and robotics. She received her PhD from ETH Z\"urich and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, under the supervision of Michael J.~Black and Marc Pollefeys, and she is currently working at Stanford with Karen Liu (postdoctoral faculty sponsor), as well as Jennifer Hicks and Scott L.~Delp.
