Fanchao is a final-year Ph.D. candidate at the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Shandong University, under the supervision of Prof. Haisen Zhao and Prof. Lin Lu. During his Ph.D. studies, he participated in a research exchange at Peking University, where he received guidance from Prof. Baoquan Chen. His research interests lie in computer graphics, with a particular focus on geometric computation and its applications in digital fabrication, including both additive and subtractive manufacturing. He has received the President’s Scholarship of Shandong University, the National Scholarship, and the Outstanding Graduate Award of Shandong University.
