Hailing from rural Australia, Katie is a self-taught animator who got madly addicted to seeing her
drawings come to life. Despite a lack of animation schools, she was determined to make her way into the
animation world, so during university Katie made a hand-drawn film that was screened in Australian
Animation Festivals. This eventually led to her big break animating for Discovery Channel’s
“MythBusters”.
Katie now lives in Vancouver and is an award-winning animator, with over a decade of experience
animating and supervising shows such as “Disney’s Proud Family”, “The Snoopy Show” and “Tales of the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. She loves to fill her spare time with creative projects, such as making
comics, running D&D campaigns and making wacky animations for Titmouse’s ‘5 Second Day’.
