Yuichi Itoh is a Professor in the Department of Integrated Information Technology, College of Science and Engineering, Aoyama Gakuin University. He received his Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from Osaka University in 2006. His research interests include developing novel human–computer interaction techniques that seamlessly bridge the physical and informational worlds. He particularly focuses on sensing and modulating human states through implicit interactions, and has proposed the concept of Unconscious Computing, which aims to integrate computation into
human perception and behavior in a subtle and unobtrusive manner.
