Pinyao Liu is an interdisciplinary artist–researcher based in Montreal, his practice spans interactive installation, computational research, and sensory performance to explore altered states of consciousness. His works have been exhibited internationally at the Ars Electronica Festival (AT), Shanghai Biennale (CN), SIGGRAPH (US) , MUTEK (QC), and the CVPR AI Art Gallery (US). He has held residencies at Ars Electronica, Société des arts technologiques (SAT), and the Visual Computing Group at Harvard University. His research has been published in Leonardo Journal by MIT Press and the NeurIPS Creative AI track.
