Biography
Diarmid Flatley is a composer, media artist, and educator working at the intersection of computation, sound, and transmedia art. He holds a PhD in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his research develops theories of metacomposition and transmodality through practice-based artistic systems. His work uses abstract structures, generative algorithms, and scientific models to produce interrelated forms across sound, image, and space. Flatley has exhibited and performed internationally and teaches courses in computational art, generative design, and immersive media.
