Jordan Vanderzalm is a Vancouver-based CG artist and Director with 20 years of experience in animated film and television production. Specializing in digital cinematography, camera work, and staging, Jordan has held key supervisory roles on hit animated features including Sausage Party and My Little Pony: The Movie. Most recently, he served as the Director of Photography and Camera & Staging Supervisor at Stellar Creative Lab for three seasons of Marvel’s What If…? and the debut season of Marvel Zombies.

Passionate about fostering the next generation of talent, Jordan spent two years as an instructor at the prestigious Vancouver Film School, teaching Previsualization. By focusing on the core principles of visual storytelling and digital cinematography, he equips up-and-coming CG artists with the tools, pipeline mindsets, and creative instincts needed to elevate the medium and build successful careers.
