Ning Yu is a Lead Research Scientist at Netflix, leading efforts in visual and multimodal generative AI. His research aspirations lie in controllable and customizable recreation of the world via generative AI, based on representations of multimodal contents and interactions between users and models.

Ning Yu holds a joint Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and Max Planck Institute for Informatics where he was supervised by Larry Davis and Mario Fritz. He previously worked with Salesforce, NVIDIA, and Adobe.
