Rana is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Chicago, where she leads 3DL, a research group focused on 3D, machine learning, and visual computing. She earned her PhD from Tel Aviv University in 2021. Her research develops AI methods for 3D data at the intersection of computer graphics, machine learning, and computer vision, including neural networks for meshes and shape-based learning for tasks like surface reconstruction and texture synthesis.
