A seasoned technology leader with nearly 20 years of experience across graphics, visual effects, animation, and cloud infrastructure, Sean drives the development of advanced spatial streaming technologies as CTO. His focus is on scalable engineering, user-centric innovation, and creative impact.

Before joining Miris, Sean held senior positions at AWS, DreamWorks, and Sony Pictures Imageworks, where he led large-scale engineering efforts and pioneered new approaches to real-time rendering and pipeline optimization. He launched a Tier-1 AWS service for graphics compute systems, contributed to foundational VFX and animation tools at top studios, and served on the Academy Software Foundation’s Technical Advisory Council.

A patent holder in distributed interactive rendering and a presenter at DigiPro, Sean has contributed to over 50 feature films and television projects. His leadership style blends technical rigor with business insight and empathy, building global teams and delivering high-impact solutions that power the future of content creation.
