Presenter

Taejoon received BS and PhD degrees in computer science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology Daejeon, Rep. of Korea in 2007 and 2013, respectively. His research on handling massive models won first and third place in the ACM SIGGRAPH 2009 Student Research Competition (SRC) and ACM 2010 SRC Grand Finals, respectively. He was awarded the Microsoft Research Asia Fellowship in 2010. Since September 2013, he has been a senior researcher at the ETRI. His research interests include physically based rendering, interactive rendering, visualization, physical simulation, and data compression.
