Luke Emrose is the Engineering Manager for Rendering at Netflix Animation Studios. He has more than 22 years of industry experience, including 13 years developing Animal Logic’s proprietary renderer, Glimpse, and co-designing its shading system. His technical credits include The LEGO Movie, Peter Rabbit, DC League of Super-Pets, and Leo. Luke previously worked as a shader writer, lighter, and technical director, and now focuses on solving complex rendering challenges at Netflix with his team.
