Biography
Noshaba is an AI researcher and dancer working at the intersection of movement, technology, and human expression. A PhD researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics and DFKI she develops real-time interactive AI systems that enable human–machine co-creation through motion. Her work explores embodied intelligence, generative models, and how dance can inform the design of adaptive, responsive systems. She has contributed to large-scale research initiatives, including a €4M EU-funded project, and has published in leading venues such as CHI, ICCV and SIGGRAPH Asia. Alongside her research, she brings work into public and artistic spaces. She was recognized with the Telekom Women in STEM Award and selected as a Women in Tech representative at Miss Germany, where she advocates for more inclusive and human-centered approaches to AI. Her artistic practice focuses on bridging physical performance and computational systems, creating experiences where movement becomes a language between humans and machines.
