Glenn Goldman is an educator, architect, photographer, and a long-term member of SIGGRAPH and the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee, which he has chaired since 2021. He is a Professor in the Hillier College of Architecture and Design at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and was one of the people responsible for the creation of the School of Art + Design in 2008, serving as its Founding Director for almost thirteen years. For 26 years prior to that, he taught at the School of Architecture at NJIT. Glenn has received awards for teaching, research, and creative work including the ACM SIGGRAPH Distinguished Educator Award in 2025. He is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects and served as the 16th president of ACADIA (the Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture). He is a registered architect in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York and a licensed professional planner in New Jersey. He’s worked as an architect and designer for a variety of firms including Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and Jung/Brannen Associates in Boston, Charles Herbert and Associates in Des Moines, and Moshe Safdie Architects in Jerusalem.
