Stejara Iulia Dinulescu is a media artist and haptics researcher. She holds a B.S. (with Distinction) in Psychology and B.A. degrees in Creative Computation and Studio Arts from Southern Methodist University, with minors in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time at UCSB, she was a member of the RE TOUCH Lab, directed by Dr. Yon Visell, where she developed wearable and assistive haptic technologies for sharing touch experiences. She received an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2021, and her work is published in haptics, robotics, and psychology venues.
