A former Newsweek correspondent with over 20 years of journalism experience, she is credited with pioneering immersive journalism—using VR technology to create empathic engagement with real-world stories. Her groundbreaking 2012 piece "Hunger in Los Angeles" became the first VR documentary at Sundance Film Festival, and as CEO of Emblematic Groups she has collaborated with The New York Times, PBS Frontline, and Wall Street Journal to create VR experiences that transport viewers directly into news.
