DescriptionMaking his feature directorial debut with Sony Pictures Animation, Tyree Dillihay joins us to look back on the making of "GOAT," the story of a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.
Blending a unique, original visual style with the kinetic energy of modern basketball culture, the film is a love letter to the underdog spirit. In this conversation, Dillihay will discuss bringing his vision to life with an A-list voice cast led by Caleb McLaughlin and Gabrielle Union, working with producer Stephen Curry and other NBA legends including Andre Iguodala to achieve authentic roarball action, and what it took to make his feature debut at one of animation's most celebrated studios.
