DescriptionThe Computer Graphics History Institute (CGHI) is building a knowledgebase of computer graphics history. It has a twofold mission: a repository about the history of computer graphics, for education and reference, and technology bases for research into several areas, including HCI.
As a repository, the goal is to provide a starting point to learn about the history of computer graphics.
The knowledgebase is an RDF graph database. Research areas include history as KM, KM with XR, and interfaces based on cognitive science, where the primary interaction is an API to the human cognitive system.
There will be demos.
